Canadian Death Cult? (Amanda Achtman) 10/13/26
Amanda Achtman is a Canadian writer, speaker, and advocate, and a leading critic of her country’s medical assistance in dying (MAID) program. She previously served as the senior advisor to a member of parliament working to prevent the expansion of euthanasia to persons living with a disability or mental illness. Since then, she has worked in various capacities to amplify the voices of those most affected and least represented in public discourse about assisted suicide. Amanda currently serves as the Ethics Director for Canadian Physicians for Life, teaches a Bioethics course for St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry, and is the founder of a project of cultural renewal called Dying to Meet You.
