Mother Miriam Live

Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God, born Rosalind Moss — is one of the most recognizable voices in Catholic media. She grew up in a conservative Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York, and by early adulthood had drifted into agnosticism. In her thirties, an encounter with Messianic Jews led her to embrace Jesus as the Messiah, and she spent fourteen years in Evangelical Protestant ministry, studying at seminary and directing women’s ministry.

Her path to the Catholic Church began, improbably, while she was working to draw Catholics away from it; until the apologetics that were meant to arm her instead convinced her. After two years of study and lots of prayer, she entered the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil of 1995. She would later take the religious name Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God, drawn from the moment she first understood that the sacrificial lambs of the Old Covenant were a type of Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Mother Miriam spent nine years as a staff apologist with Catholic Answers before founding her own religious community, the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel’s Hope, in 2008, where she serves as Prioress. In 2015 she launched the radio program Heart to Heart with Mother Miriam, known today as Mother Miriam Live. Known for her wit, her clarity, and her willingness to speak plainly on the questions many prefer to avoid, she brings that same conviction to the air each weekday at 2PM ET and The Station of the Cross is proud to be her home.
