Retrouvaille

Retrouvaille is a Catholic program open to all faiths that helps couples through difficult times in their marriages – even those on verge of separation or divorce. It has an in-person weekend phase and 12 virtual follow-up sessions. During the weekend phase of Retrouvaille, a series of presentations are given by a team of three couples and a priest. The team presents their stories of recovery through Retrouvaille and a technique of communication that enables couples to take a good look at most areas of their relationship in complete privacy. During the follow-up sessions, the weekend technique is further developed to explore other areas such as expectations, listening skills, family-of-origin issues, personality styles, intimacy and conflict management.
