Celebrate the Consecration of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and our nation’s 250th anniversary at the 24th Annual Diocesan-Wide Eucharistic Rosary Procession on Friday, June 19, rain or shine, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Church, 99 King St., Northampton.
The Sacrament of Confession will be offered at 8:30 a.m. The program begins at 9 a.m. with a talk by Fr. Kingsley Ihejirika titled, “One Body, One Spirit, One Nation Under God: Broken for Others,” followed by a 1.8-mile Eucharistic rosary procession through downtown Northampton, returning to the church for a presentation of flowers by the children to the Blessed Mother, the singing of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Touching of the Garment, Adoration, Benediction, and a reception.
(Transportation is available for those unable to walk in the procession.)
