Join the Acutis Initiative on March 28 for a day of prayer, Adoration, and fellowship as we prepare to journey with our Lord on His Passion, climb to Calvary, and Resurrection.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pitass Center at St. Stanislaus, 389 Peckham St., Buffalo.
This Day of Recollection is rooted in the First Eucharist. Father Peter Santandreu will say Mass, followed by Adoration and Benediction. Father will give a talk on the foreshadowing of the Eucharist in Holy Scripture and how God’s promises in the Old Testament are fulfilled in the New. Those in attendance will also pray through a guided, Ignatian meditation on the Last Supper. With time for silent reflection, confessions, and being in community, this day will help prepare you to finish your Lenten journey and proclaim the Good News of God’s unfathomable love for each and every one of us.
Tickets cost $25 and include lunch – visit acutisinitiative.org or acutisinitiativedayofrecollection.eventbrite.com to learn more or get tickets.
The Acutis Initiative is a new initiative helping us to follow more deeply in love with Jesus and express that love with reverence and devotion to the Eucharist.
