Patriotic Rosary (Norwood)

Join in praying the patriotic Rosary at 1 p.m. Friday, July 3, in Norwood Town Common, the intersection of Washington and Nahatan streets, Norwood, Massachusetts – or, if rainy, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington St., Norwood, Massachusetts. The patriotic Rosary is a recitation of the Holy Rosary that invokes God’s blessings on our country, each state individually, and every soul in every state. Participants pray especially for veterans, living and dead, and active military. They additionally pray for government officials, police, and firefighters; read passages written by the founding fathers that clearly show that we are a Christian nation founded on Christian principles; and sing patriotic songs. It is a beautiful prayer event that fosters love for God and country.
