Camino de St. Teresa (Akron/Clarence)

St. Teresa of Avila Parish will hold a “Camino de St. Teresa” walking retreat on Saturday, May 30, inspired by the famous Camino de Santiago in Spain. Participants select one of five starting points in the Akron and Clarence areas and walk at their own pace, arriving for 4 p.m. Mass at St. Teresa’s, 5771 Buell St., Akron, followed by a pilgrims’ supper.
This one-day pilgrimage offers a taste of a traditional Camino with walking trails, shrines, Credential stamps (a pilgrim’s passport), a Compostela (certificate of completion), a t-shirt, a pull-string satchel, and a commemorative patch.
