Lenten Retreat (Greece)

ROC Catholics Northwest will hold a Lenten Retreat from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 22, and 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 23, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Road, off Duxbury, in Greece.
Sunday’s presentation, “Encountering the Heart of Jesus” by Lisa Lickona STL, will focus on relationship, mercy, intimacy, and healing. Lickona is a nationally recognized Catholic writer and speaker whose writing on the saints graced the pages of Magnificat.
Monday’s presentation, “Casting Fire Upon the Earth: The Radicality of the Gospel and the Mission of the Laity” by Matthew Huhner PhD, will emphasize renewal, purpose, courage, and call. Kyhner is VP/academic dean and assoc. professor of systematic theology at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry in Rochester.
