2024 Spring Appeal – “This is My Body… This is My Blood.”
A M E R I C A N U N I V E R S I T Y WOMEN FOR LIFE presents Upholding Human Dignity; Combating Human Trafficking and Providing Sanctuary for Women with Bridgett Hurley Dunn, Executive Director of O’Connell House
Bridgett will be with us in person to tell us about this safe home for women who are survivors of human trafficking – a place of healing for women who may or may not be pregnant or have a small child under two years old. This ministry helps them on a path of recovery through a 24/7 Sister Care Model. The nurturing environment creates an atmosphere of safety and security where dignity can be restored and healing can occur.
As Pope Francis has said: “Human trafficking is an open wound on the body of contemporary society – a scourge against the body of Christ. It is a crime against humanity.”

Mary Hall at St. Mary’s Church, 420 High St., Dedham Mary Hall, in church’s lower level, has parking at 25 Avery St. at the rear entrance. PLEASE enter quietly as Mass will be going on in the upper church.
