2024 Spring Appeal – “This is My Body… This is My Blood.”
15th Annual Quincy Way of the Cross
On Good Friday, March 29, 2024, Quincy Catholics will once more carry the cross throughout the City of Quincy, stopping at each of its seven Catholic Churches. At each Church, the group will pray two Stations of the Cross before moving on to the next Church.
All are welcome to join in this prayerful journey of remembrance on Good Friday. The group encourages participation of any kind, whether participants are able to walk part of the journey, all of the journey, or not at all. Many choose to participate by greeting the walkers upon their arrival at a Church, and then staying to pray the two Stations of the Cross.
There is no need to sign up. The Quincy Way of the Cross is not a fundraiser; no money is collected, and no money is spent.
The Quincy Way of the Cross steps off from Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock St. in North Quincy at 9:00 AM. After leaving Sacred Heart, the itinerary is as follows:
