2024 Spring Appeal – “This is My Body… This is My Blood.”
Celtic Noëls, the concert presented by Wings of Song to rapturous audiences in early December, can be heard once again! These pieces are deeply devotional and deeply Christmas-related from France, with a special focus on Brittany. Save the date and the time: Epiphany, January 6th, at 7pm. The place: Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street in Southbridge. All but a handful of the pieces in the original concert will be represented, and yes, there will be a drum and a gong. In fact, all the instrumentalists from the earlier performances will be present.
A free will offering will be collected during the singalong (“Angels We Have Heard On High”), the proceeds to be divided equally between Wings of Song and our kind host church, Notre Dame. There will be no intermission, and we are forgoing the social gathering after the performance. If there is a snowstorm, the concert will likely be cancelled; check our website or our Facebook page for bulletins on the day of the concert. We hope to see many of you there! wingsofsong.org
