Spousal Love, Marriage and the Culture of Life Talk (St. Mary’s Church – Dedham)

American University Women for Life presents, “Spousal Love, Marriage, and the Culture of Life” with Richard Spinello, Ph.D.

Dr. Spinello, a Professor of Management and Ethics at Boston College and an adjunct faculty member at St. John’s Seminary, has a special expertise in business ethics, the natural law ethics of Aquinas, and the philosophical works of St. John Paul II. He is the author of fifteen books including The Splendor of Marriage: St. John Paul II’s Vision of Love, Marriage, Family, and the Culture of Life about which he will speak.

Professor Spinello will address the Pope’s profound analysis of spousal love, the pre-condition for a holy and sacramental marriage. In this context, he will also discuss John Paul II’s commitment to the Christian vision of procreation and family and his most important encyclical, Evangelium Vitae, the primary example of his strenuous intellectual battle against the encroaching culture of death.
