Relic Veneration (Bowmansville)

Sacred Heart Diocesan Shrine will have its relic of St. Francis of Assisi in the church for veneration before and after Mass through March 22, starting 30 minutes before Mass at Sacred Heart Diocesan Shrine, 5337 Genesee St., Bowmansville.
Pope Leo XVI has proclaimed this year to be the Year of St. Francis of Assisi. It is the 800th anniversary of his death, and his remains are being exposed in Assisi from February 22 until March 22.
