Consecration Mass for Russia and Ukraine (Sacred Heart Cathedral – Rochester)
March 25, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
On Friday, March 25th, the Solemnity of the Anunciation, Pope Francis will be consecrating Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
On the same day, at 7 pm, the Diocese of Rochester will join our Holy Father in prayer at a Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral, seeking the Blessed Mother’s intercession that her Son will grant us the gift of peace.
Bishop Matano is also requesting that as a Diocesan family, we pray the Memorare for this same intention on the nine days leading up to and including March 25th.
Let us pray:
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
