DESCRIPTION:St. Patrick Church will observe Divine Mercy Sunday in various ways throughout the weekend\, April 11 and 12\, at the church\, 115 Maple Ave.\, Victor. The parish will display the Image of Divine Mercy all weekend for public veneration and pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet before its weekend Masses\, with rosaries and a guide available at the church entrances. There will also be Eucharistic Adoration at 3 p.m. Sunday\, during which confession will be available and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed again. Adoration will end with Benediction at 4 p.m.\nJesus told St. Faustina that this Feast of Mercy would be a very special day when “all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened”. (Diary 699).

Divine Mercy Weekend is the biggest event of the year at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy\, with over 15\,000 pilgrims from all walks of life coming rain or shine to attend the Sacraments\, attend Mass\, and to join in prayer on Divine Mercy Sunday.\nOn April 11\, the Eve of the Solemnity of Divine Mercy Sunday\, there will be confession from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, the Solemn Novena to Divine Mercy at 3 p.m. in the Mother of Mercy Outdoor Shrine\, and 4 p.m. Divine Mercy Sunday Mass at the Mother of Mercy Outdoor Shrine.\nOn Divine Mercy Sunday\, April 12\, there will be confession from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Solemn Mass at 1 p.m. in the Mother of Mercy Outdoor Shrine\, with Mass broadcast live on EWTN starting at noon and available via the DivineMercyOfficial Facebook page or TheDivineMercy.org.\nBuses or groups of 15+ people must register in advance at ShrineofDivineMercy.org.

Father Joe Wolf will be the celebrant. \nThe Mass offers a shorter\, less crowded worship setting\, allowing people to move freely as needed. The lighting will be dimmer\, the music soothing\, and low gluten hosts will be available. Light refreshments will be served after Mass in the accessible Parish Ministry Center. \nThe church is wheelchair accessible\, and Mass will be interpreted through American Sign Language by Father Gerard Skrzynski\, Catholic Deaf Apostolate. \nThe Mass will also be live-streamed on Saint Bernadette’s Facebook page. \nThis event is sponsored by Open Doors Ministry\, a ministry that advocates for the inclusion of people with disabilities into the life of the parish.
