DESCRIPTION:Notre Dame Retreat House will hold a senior lunch with the theme\, “Scripture Soaking / Immersive Prayer\,” with Laura Ouimette\, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Friday\, June 19\, at Notre Dame Retreat House\, 5151 Foster Road\, Canandaigua. Participants will explore a unique way of praying with Scripture by engaging the five senses to deepen their awareness of God’s presence. Through guided reflection\, prayer\, and fellowship\, this experience will invite participants to slow down\, listen deeply\, and encounter Scripture in a new and prayerful way. SUMMARY:Retreat for Adults with Divorced Parents (Utica)
DESCRIPTION:Life-Giving Wounds is a three-day healing retreat for people ages 18 and older whose parents are divorced or separated. It will run from 7 p.m. Friday\, June 26\, through 3 p.m. Sunday\, June 28\, at The Good News Center\, 10475 Cosby Manor Road\, Utica. \nThe retreat invites participants to move through the broken image of love that appeared to them in their parents’ relationship\, to their deepest origin and identity as God’s beloved\, capable of great love. It will be led by a retreat team from both the Diocese of Syracuse and the Diocese of Ogdensburg. Fr.
