SUMMARY:Our Lady of Fatima Mass and Processions (Bowmansville)
DESCRIPTION:Sacred Heart of Jesus Diocesan Shrine will celebrate Our Lady of Fatima with Mass and processions at 6:30 p.m. on the 13th of each month\, from May through October.\nJoin in celebrating Our Lady’s appearances and the messages that she shared with three young shepherd children in Fatima\, Portugal\, in 1917. Our Lady of Fatima came to share some very important messages for all of humanity: prayer in the Holy Rosary\, fasting\, devotion to her Immaculate Heart\, and sacrifice to obtain peace for the world and the conversion of sinners.\nOur Lady appeared to the children on the 13th of every month from May through October. We acknowledge her appearances and requests of us on these same days with a monthly Holy Mass\, Rosary\, reading of her messages to the children\, and a procession with Our Lady adorned with fresh white roses cascading on a handmade mahogany litter just like the celebrations in Fatima\, Portugal.\nNew this year\, the shrine’s services will have more relics to venerate of saints who honored Our Lady and had a special devotion to her: St. Domenic\, St. Catherine Laboure\, St. Louis De Monfort. There is also a holy relic of our Lady’s Veil.\nThe October closing Mass and procession will have an opportunity for brown scapular enrollment\, showing that by wearing the scapular that Our Lady gave to St. Simon Stock\, we venerate her\, love her\, and trust in her protection along with the many other protections it offers. St Simon Stock’s holy first class relic will be available for veneration. There will also be a closing reception in October.\nAttendance at these monthly services can help participants understand why Our Lady of Fatima came and what she is asking of us all\, giving the knowledge needed to respond to her call. \nThe shrine is looking for men ages 18 and older who can help carry the litter with the statue of Our Lady in some of the processions – to volunteer\, call Dave Will at 716-903-4139.

DESCRIPTION:Join Sacred Heart of Jesus Diocesan Shrine to unite in prayer with the entire country in consecrating the United States of America on its 250th Anniversary to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This free\, rain-or-shine event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday\, June 12\, at the shrine\, 5337 Genesee St.\, Bowmansville (good-will offerings accepted). It will take place in the outdoor consecrated Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Shrine and Altar of Reparation. On this special evening\, participants will be united under God in Holy Mass\, prayers for the country\, the American flag\, and their Catholic faith as they celebrate the Feast Day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.\nAfter Mass\, nationally known Catholic speaker Anne Costa will offer a special presentation to prepare those in attendance for an upcoming Sacred Heart of Jesus 12-Month Pilgrimage that kicks off in July 2026. Costa is a wife\, mother\, and best-selling author of six books\, the latest of which is “Healing Promises: The Essential Guide to the Sacred Heart.” She will do a deep dive into the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and explain why it is so desperately needed for all of us today. She shares in her book that the Sacred Heart is “…a devotion that’s one of the most recognizable in our Catholic faith\, yet one of the least understood. Many Catholics know the image but have yet to experience the depths of the love story behind it.” Anne will bring all of her books and will be available for questions at the reception after her presentation. Good-will offerings will be collected for Anne’s travel to the Shrine.\nThe fruit of participation: An evening of connecting your soul to the incredible love and hope in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and offering prayer for your country and neighbor. The procession will bring Christ into the streets of the city at 11:30 a.m.\, traveling down Buffalo Avenue and Military Road\, concluding with Benediction and a reception at Prince of Peace Church. Any girl who has made her First Holy Communion in 2026 is invited to join at the head of the procession\, wearing her First Communion dress and sprinkling rose petals in front of the priest carrying the monstrance with the consecrated host.\nIn the event of rain\, processions will instead be held inside the two churches.

DESCRIPTION:The Central Niagara Catholic Family will celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of our Lord\, Jesus Christ\, with a Eucharistic Procession to evangelize the community on Sunday\, June 7th.\nThe procession will begin at 11:45 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church\, 168 Chestnut St.\, Lockport\, and process down Main Street in Lockport accompanying our Lord in the Monstrance with hymns and prayers.\nAlong the route\, there will be stops at two temporary altars where participants will take a few minutes to adore our Lord with prayer\, Bible readings\, songs\, bells\, and incense.\nThe procession will end with Benediction around 1:15 p.m. at All Saints Parish\, 76 Church St.\, Lockport. There will be a short social in the All Saints parish hall afterwards with light refreshments\, and free will offerings will be accepted.\nFree shuttle service is available to transport people from All Saints to St. John’s\, from 11 a.m. until the procession begins and again after the procession.\nThe shuttle will also be available for participants who cannot walk the procession route.\nPlease prayerfully consider being part of this powerful event. SUMMARY:Our Lady of Fatima Mass and Processions (Bowmansville)
DESCRIPTION:Sacred Heart of Jesus Diocesan Shrine will celebrate Our Lady of Fatima with Mass and processions at 6:30 p.m. on the 13th of each month\, from May through October.\nJoin in celebrating Our Lady’s appearances and the messages that she shared with three young shepherd children in Fatima\, Portugal\, in 1917. Our Lady of Fatima came to share some very important messages for all of humanity: prayer in the Holy Rosary\, fasting\, devotion to her Immaculate Heart\, and sacrifice to obtain peace for the world and the conversion of sinners.\nOur Lady appeared to the children on the 13th of every month from May through October. We acknowledge her appearances and requests of us on these same days with a monthly Holy Mass\, Rosary\, reading of her messages to the children\, and a procession with Our Lady adorned with fresh white roses cascading on a handmade mahogany litter just like the celebrations in Fatima\, Portugal.\nNew this year\, the shrine’s services will have more relics to venerate of saints who honored Our Lady and had a special devotion to her: St. Domenic\, St. Catherine Laboure\, St. Louis De Monfort. There is also a holy relic of our Lady’s Veil.\nThe October closing Mass and procession will have an opportunity for brown scapular enrollment\, showing that by wearing the scapular that Our Lady gave to St. Simon Stock\, we venerate her\, love her\, and trust in her protection along with the many other protections it offers. St Simon Stock’s holy first class relic will be available for veneration. There will also be a closing reception in October.\nAttendance at these monthly services can help participants understand why Our Lady of Fatima came and what she is asking of us all\, giving the knowledge needed to respond to her call. \nThe shrine is looking for men ages 18 and older who can help carry the litter with the statue of Our Lady in some of the processions – to volunteer\, call Dave Will at 716-903-4139.
