SUMMARY:Eucharistic Procession (Lockport)
DESCRIPTION:The Central Niagara Catholic Family will celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of our Lord\, Jesus Christ\, with a Eucharistic Procession to evangelize the community on Sunday\, June 7th.\nThe procession will begin at 11:45 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church\, 168 Chestnut St.\, Lockport\, and process down Main Street in Lockport accompanying our Lord in the Monstrance with hymns and prayers.\nAlong the route\, there will be stops at two temporary altars where participants will take a few minutes to adore our Lord with prayer\, Bible readings\, songs\, bells\, and incense.\nThe procession will end with Benediction around 1:15 p.m. at All Saints Parish\, 76 Church St.\, Lockport. There will be a short social in the All Saints parish hall afterwards with light refreshments\, and free will offerings will be accepted.\nFree shuttle service is available to transport people from All Saints to St. John’s\, from 11 a.m. until the procession begins and again after the procession.\nThe shuttle will also be available for participants who cannot walk the procession route.\nPlease prayerfully consider being part of this powerful event. Who should participate in the Procession? All who are weary and burdened\, any person interested in praising and glorifying Jesus\, parents and children\, Catholic teachers and students\, those involved in Catholic ministries\, those recently baptized or confirmed and First Communicants\, and any other persons of good will whether Catholic or not.

DESCRIPTION:Sacred Heart of Jesus Diocesan Shrine in Bowmansville and its family of parishes will hold a Corpus Christi celebration and procession at 2 pm. Sunday\, June 7\, on the grounds of the shrine\, 5337 Genesee St.\, Bowmansville. Led by priests\, the procession will stop at five altars set up by the family of parishes\, representing the corners of the world.\nCorpus Christi was instituted in the year 1264 as a universal Feast Day in our Catholic tradition. It is a public act of worship in procession with the Blessed Sacrament in the monstrance\, including prayer and song\, communicating what we believe as Catholics that the Eucharist is the Real Presence of Jesus. This is an opportunity to publicly proclaim what we believe as Catholics\, showing that we personally believe joyfully that He is truly present in the Eucharist and is deserving of public honor and adoration.

DESCRIPTION:The Greater East Buffalo Family of Parishes will celebrate Corpus Christi Sunday at approximately 12:30 p.m. Sunday\, June 7\, with a traditional procession of the Blessed Sacrament. The half-mile procession begins at St. Stanislaus B&M Church\, 123 Townsend St.\, Buffalo\, following noon Mass (in Polish) and will conclude at Corpus Christi Church. All are invited to join in this beautiful tradition of walking through the streets with the Blessed Sacrament\, stopping along the way at four special outdoor Altars\, singing and praying\, and celebrating Holy Mass immediately afterwards at Corpus Christi Church (in English). Participants should assemble at St. Stanislaus Church at 12:30 p.m.; the procession is anticipated to begin at 1 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:The Niagara Falls Family of Parishes will hold their fifth annual Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession on Sunday\, June 7\, starting with 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. John de La Salle Church\, 8477 Buffalo Ave.\, in the La Salle section of Niagara Falls. The procession will bring Christ into the streets of the city at 11:30 a.m.\, traveling down Buffalo Avenue and Military Road\, concluding with Benediction and a reception at Prince of Peace Church. Any girl who has made her First Holy Communion in 2026 is invited to join at the head of the procession\, wearing her First Communion dress and sprinkling rose petals in front of the priest carrying the monstrance with the consecrated host.\nIn the event of rain\, processions will instead be held inside the two churches.
