After years of service, he retired as bishop emeritus of Tyler, Texas.   Be inspired by Bishop Strickland’s inspiring words: “The truth is what lasts…the truth is what has an eternal future, anything that takes us away from the church, is a world that will fall to dust… Please don’t leave the church, but learn your faith more deeply, and stand against anything that is contrary to the truth, that is Jesus Christ.”

After 18 years of Evangelical Protestantism, she entered the Catholic Church at Easter 1995.
